Trey Lance is under scrutiny at the Dallas Cowboys training camp, struggling with multiple interceptions and errant passes during the first two practices. One of his interceptions, a pick-six, was partly due to a deflection off Deuce Vaughn’s hands. Despite the rough start, it’s still early in camp, and there’s hope Lance will improve as he settles in.
Veteran quarterback Cooper Rush hasn’t fared much better, facing accuracy issues of his own. Contrary to expectations, Rush hasn’t outperformed Lance, leaving both quarterbacks neck-and-neck in the competition. With practice resuming Saturday morning, it will be interesting to see who can distinguish themselves first.
